Stop comparing the Regal wagon to the Roadmaster.
The Roadmaster is the fatass corn-fed uncle from the Midwest. The Regal wagon is clearly the son of the Century Wagon, grew up in the ritzy suburbs of the Northwest and went to boarding school in You-rupp before coming back to the States.

And it too had a woodgrain option!

Agreed. The roadmaster wagon would have to spawn off a camaro or CTS or something RWD. FWD biased wagons are descendants of the century wagon. Fact.

Which Roadmaster is best Roadmaster?

I don’t accept a FWD Roadmaster successor. AWD... maybe , but that transverse engine just rubs me the wrong way.

Funny you mention it being in the northwest (not sure if PNW or tony NW Chicago). I am in the PNW, and there’s a pristine one of these in my area I spot now and then, early 90s I assume.

Makes sense to me.

Yup. Lineage matches too: A -> W -> Epsilon 2 -> E2XX

Think you can take the frontend of the first one and bolt it onto the second.

Ah... the 3300. My ma’s old Ciera had that engine. Loved that car. Essentially this without the International badging and bench seats. Everything else identical down to the wheels.

Ritzy suburbs in New England are kind of a rarity. This is from my Maine-centric view however.

I gotta thank Trey Parker and Matt Stone for making my Century Wagon cool for a brief moment in time.

We had a 1990 Century Custom like this:
It had the 3300/4-spd combo. That car was a riot to drive and got impressive mileage. I’m always looking for another but those I find are either rotted or they have the 3100 (which I refuse to own another of).
